Welcome to Viva Living Fitness

We are a fitness organisation located in Richmond, NSW. We offer several fitness programs for children and adults based on our philosophy that fitness is a fundamental part of living well.

Our unique coaching programs have been developed by directors Wendy Woods and Liz de Vries (both Level II coaches with the Australian Track & Field Coaches Association) based on their firm belief that the most important motivation for people to continue participating in any sport is having fun. If we enjoy ourselves, play and relax, have a laugh and socialise with others, we are far more likely to keep up our fitness routine. The result: a sense of achievement, improved physical health, improved happiness and better self esteem.

This is what we aim to offer all our participants. Our fitness sessions focus on play. They take place outdoors, in a relaxed and non-intimidating atmosphere.

Our adult fitness programs focus strongly on the needs and interests of participating individuals. These programs are:

Viva Fit  offers a combination of aerobic exercise through running and agility games and strength work. Viva One on One is our affordable fitness program for people wanting individual coaching/training, while early risers may prefer Viva Sunrise, a brand new, six week group exercise program of more intense aerobic and strength workouts.

For children we offer:

Viva Kids programs are based on the same principles as the adult fitness groups. Regardless of age, children have varying needs and abilities when it comes to sport and exercise. Our fitness groups provide non-stop games and action, focusing on enjoyment, team building and skill development, while also aiming to improve fitness levels and body strength. We offer fun and movement in a safe environment, instilling a life-long love of exercise in children.

The aim of our athletics coaching is to improve aerobic fitness, agility and physical strength while also developing event specific techniques and skills. Our training is based on a program designed by IAAF to encourage children to enjoy the full range of athletics events.

This may sound corny but my personal training in the pool with Liz from Viva Living Fitness has just changed my outlook on so much. My doctor says I am up for a new knee but have to take a lot of weight off first and get fit. I really hate all that sweaty fitness stuff, but the pool fitness sessions are so much fun and are really changing my fitness levels.
Jenni, 58 (but really only 49).
